In response to the sealing requirements under high-speed, high-pressure and wide-temperature conditions, Chinese research institutions have actively carried out research on related materials and products. Currently, a series of product patterns have been formed, which has solved the urgent need for sealing technology in the hydraulic and pneumatic industries, and the level of products has been continuously improved.
It is reported that high-performance sealing materials and products independently developed by our country have been widely applied in fields such as aerospace, aviation, weaponry, shipping, and civil machinery industry. They have also been used in the sealing of special vehicle transmission systems in the weaponry industry, anti-friction sleeves, high-pressure and high-temperature gas sealing plugs, and reciprocating sealing and radiation-proof sealing materials have been promoted on special ships.
The static sealing materials and products in our country have reached a very high level. Static sealing achieves sealing by closing the gap between the mating surfaces. It is selected based on different media, different working temperatures, and different sealing application environments. Static sealing products include sealing parts of different sizes and specifications (O-rings, Y-rings, V-rings and other non-standard gaskets, sealing rings, etc.), mainly used for various flat static seals, end face guide Angle groove seals, cylindrical surface static seals, dust-proof seals, vehicle window frames, cabin door seals, etc. We have provided high-performance sealing products for a variety of new special equipment, aerospace technology, civil vehicles, etc.
Rubber products have a wide range of temperature adaptability. Among them, the varieties of wide-temperature-range special silicone rubber include high-temperature resistant type, ablation-resistant type, high-strength type, ultra-low-temperature type, etc. Moreover, it has the ability for further research and development and can provide various O-rings, special-shaped sealing rings, gaskets and other sealing products. Special nitrile rubber features outstanding properties such as oil resistance, resistance to high and low temperatures, high strength, and high elasticity. This material has mature technology and stable processes, and can withstand most hydraulic oils, mechanical oils, and lubricating oils. It has a wide applicable temperature range, generally from -50℃ to 130℃, and can withstand a short-term high temperature of 150℃. It can be used to manufacture fixed or movable seals, valve parts and various gaskets, washers, sealing strips, etc. that work in various oils. We can provide products of various specifications and offer technology for estimating the installation life of finished products. The small sealing parts made of special fluorosilicone rubber materials and products can operate at a long-term temperature of -55 to 200℃ in fuel oil and air media with oil vapor, and a short-term working temperature of up to 250℃. They can meet the requirements of long-term operation at -55 to 150℃ and short-term operation at 165℃ in media such as naphthalene-based fuel, mineral oil, and double-sided gear lubricating oil.
High-speed rotary seal products are fluid dynamic oil seals designed based on the principles of fluid mechanics. This structure organically unifies the sealing and lubrication functions, reduces the working temperature and friction wear of the lips, and the service life is several times longer than that of similar products. Fluid dynamic oil seals made of low-friction fluororubber not only adapt to higher linear speeds and harsh operating conditions, but also reduce the processing requirements for shafts. They can accommodate eccentricity of 0.25mm or more, and their service life is significantly longer than that of general oil seals. At present, it has passed the bench test with a linear speed of 20 to 25m/s, a pressure of 0.01 to 0.05MPa, a working temperature of -40 to 180℃, and a duration of 800 hours. High-pressure reciprocating sealing products are a kind of combined sealing system that is resistant to high pressure, wear and low friction. When the pressure of the working medium increases, the sealing pressure also increases accordingly, thereby ensuring reliable sealing under high-pressure conditions. Among high-temperature and high-pressure gas sealing materials and products, airtight gaskets, as key components in special equipment, have also made significant progress. They have overcome the shortcomings of existing airtight gaskets and can ensure reliable gas sealing, strong adaptability, convenient operation and good interchangeability of airtight gaskets under various special conditions in special equipment. Strong corrosion-resistant gasket sealing materials are being promoted and applied in a variety of special devices.
